Hi All, The 2026 Lutheran Winni Week will be August 9th - 15th!! - This Year's Spring Fling is TBD
The week for campers starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday. For early risers there is a “morning swim” at the beach on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Additionally, on all weekdays we have our morning prayer group, and “morning watch” devotions at the outdoor chapel.
For those who would rather sleep in, each day begins with a hearty breakfast, served in the dining room. (That’s right, the first of three meals a day, all included.)
After breakfast, campers head to our Christian Education Program's. The Children Vacation Bible Study (VBS) consist of two groups: Preschool-5th grade and 6th-12th graders. The adults meet for Bible Study with the week’s guest speaker.
After lunch is a perfect time for relaxing or to take part in our variety of activities. Throughout the week campers partake in activities like mountain hiking, rocket building, swimming, canoeing, kayaking etc. In the late afternoons, the Camp Winni Choir rehearses before dinner.
During dinner we gather together and participate in lively conversation in the dining hall, talking about the past year and reminiscing old memories.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday we join together after dinner for Worship service, often taking advantage of the God's creation at the outdoor chapel and the gathering space on the beach. Each night concludes with a fun activity like game night, movie night, our talent show, campfire etc.
